Tattoo Pain
If you think it’s going to hurt, it indeed will!
If you have a clear head and are strong-willed,
and go about the procedure as you would for having
your ear pierced, it won’t. Oh, it may ‘sting’,
depending on where the tattoo is placed on the body,
the closer the tattoo to the thin skin near a bone or boney area)
for a split second or two, but by the time you figure
that out it will have been over with and you’ll be laughing
about it before you know it!
Tattoo Needles
The problem most people have is just in realizing
that a ‘tattoo needle’ is totally unlike having your
blood drawn and sticking a needle in your arm to withdraw blood.
Nor is it like sticking a needle in your outer shoulder area for
a health vaccination! If you try to imagine that a tattooing
“needle” is only adding color to your skin/body, instead of the
other two ways described above, then you feel at ease when the process is done.
Tattoos are not like injecting something into
your body, which some people can see as “something invading
their bodies” it is only adding color to the skin
to create something of intrinsic value. Art, that can be appreciated and enjoyed through out your life.
Tattoo Pleasure
Tattos, in fact, have been proven to cause
endorphin-released reactions in more than just a few people,
which is why, if you speak to most average people that have
gotten tattoos; having it done legally, which means no drugs
or alcohol in your system, the first thing out of their mouths
usually is “I can’t wait to have another one done!”
In their own rite, they can become ‘addictive’, as the pleasure
they receive during and after supersedes any fear or pain,
and as the build-up of tension is released after the tattoo is over,
they become living proof themselves of the pleasurable experience one
can certainly have during the ‘tattooing’ itself.
